Upcoming Exhibition 'Sign Languge'

Richard was born in Tauranga and has been painting since his secondary school days.
Always passionate about art throughout his working life, predominately in the marine and furniture industries, he is now a full time artist.
Many childhood hours have been spent in his father’s boatbuilding workshop observing and drawing boats under construction.
Self taught with an identifiable style he describes his art as contemporary realism, executed with a strong depth of space and colour, form and contrast. The aim, to create paintings that look spontaneous and bring the subject to life.
"Through my art covering all aspects of our land and lifestyle I hope people find inspiration and motivation to take a fresh look at their environment"
